The Gruffalo

The Gruffalo

A wonderful story about the power of your own imagination, about courage, wit, brains and the encouragement that says: there is always a way out

For children from 3 - 93 years

Duration approx. 50 minutes without a break

Director: Maike Jansen and Stefan Ferencz

The Gruffalo, what kind of animal is that?

You do not know him?! Then I will describe him to you.

You don't know him either, the Gruffalo? This is how you should get to know him.

The little mouse strolls through the forest and of course it is a tempting feast for everyone. She meets a fox, an owl and a snake, but despite her fear she is not completely afraid. She creates a being out of her imagination; the "Gruffalo",

none of the animals have seen it yet. "With knotted knees, a hideous paw and a poisonous wart on the front of his face".

With his help, she puts them all to flight. But then she herself is suddenly visited by the Gruffalo... "Oh, horror, oh horror..." - But that's the story not over yet.

... lovingly arranged play that gets the children excited from the very first moment, laughing out loud and even applauding the scene ...

... Children and parents were enthusiastic about this poetic performance. I can't achieve more with a play for children ...
